Indigenous Transfer Center (ITC)

A partnership among KOI Water Group, Red Wolf Corporation, and other stakeholders, where the KOI and Red Wolf collaboration is an Indigenous enterprise with a vision to reinvest profits back into First Nations and Métis Communities. We're excited to share the progress of the ITC in Boyle, AB, which has garnered full support from the local Mayor, Council, and Indigenous communities.

Our commitment to innovative and sustainable energy solutions has taken a significant leap forward with our recent collaboration with Curve H2. This partnership is a strategic move towards harnessing the potential of Liquid Hydrogen and Battery Grade Graphite, utilizing the eco-conscious Turquoise Hydrogen methodology.

What's New

Partnership with Curve H2: We've teamed up with Curve H2 to embark on the production of Liquid Hydrogen and Battery Grade Graphite. This venture is a critical step towards diversifying and strengthening our energy portfolio.

Production Milestones: Curve H2 is set to deliver 500 tonnes of Liquid Hydrogen and 1,500 tonnes of Battery Grade Graphite each week, enough to fill one Unit Train, enhancing the operational scope of the ITC significantly.

Facility Expansion: The inclusion of Curve H2's operations necessitates the expansion of the ITC by an additional 26 acres, enabling us to better serve and impact our community and environment.

Highlights

As operators and principals of the ITC, the KOI and Red Wolf partnership is committed to driving sustainable growth and contributing positively to community development.

Initially spanning 85 acres, the ITC is a specialized oil processing and rail yard facility, now augmented by Curve H2's cutting-edge Liquid Hydrogen and Battery Grade Graphite production unit.

The Curve H2 addition not only expands our footprint by 26 acres but also introduces 80 - 90 new roles to the region, encompassing operational staff for Curve H2 and additional rail yard operators focused on handling Liquid Hydrogen and Battery Grade Graphite.

The ITC Service Center continues to provide high-quality service bays and installation facilities for our Associate Members, ensuring we stay at the forefront of innovation and operational efficiency.

With an eye towards the future, we're ready to scale up the ITC to meet the increasing demand from our community, reinforcing our commitment to growth and adaptability.

Job creation remains a key focus, with the ITC already poised to offer over 208 local administration and operations jobs and over 326 trucking and logistics positions. With Curve H2's integration, we're looking at an even more substantial impact on local employment opportunities.

Our journey with the ITC is deeply rooted in our commitment to community, innovation, and sustainability. With the continued support of Boyle and its vibrant community, we're geared up for an exciting phase of growth and impact.
